Why dont we bring an NHL team to Fairfield County, CT?
Why does North Jersey and Long Island gotta hog the suburban NY sports teams. Why dont Bridgeport, Stamford, Fairfield, Danbury, etc. get any love yet Hempstead and Newark do. Are we not as important to the tri-state NY metro area as NJ or LI? Stop dissing the FC NHL! Who agrees?

Answer 1 :
LOL good luck with getting one there. Will never, ever happen. Bridgeport does have the Sound Tigers which is the Islanders AHL affiliate last time i checked.
Answer 2 :
well if they gave teams to all the places that wanted one, the NHL would have hundreds of teams and that would be stupid
Answer 3 :
I'm Canadian and I have no idea where the hell that is - only a vague reference. NY has two teams, but realistically only one of them competes. With the Islanders in need of expensive renovations to Nassau coliseum, NY city could be down to one team. Sorry, but I think its time the next franchise, be it expansion (unlikely) or a move, should go north of the border.
Answer 4 :
Dude i live in fairfield County!...Hartford Whalers should come back hhaha...but thats not fairfield county..good question..i want FC NHL
Answer 5 :
Because You can't Financially support one, The Islanders threating to move to Kansas City so It shows that New York has one too many teams, I would look at Mayor Daley of Chicago asking for another NFL Team to the Bears, He could ask for a 2nd NHL Team to the Blackhawks as well but realistically It won't happen in Chicago or Connecticut because People are loyal to one team or the Other and not enter a third Party in the Argument. No Offense but Fairfield County CT can't support a NHL Team.
Answer 6 :
How dare you compare CT with NJ or LI. Rhode Island should come before CT.
